FAQs

How often do you add new content?

We usually publish a new article every week, typically on Wednesdays. This could be a deep dive into a country’s cuisine, a guide to must try dishes, a city food guide, a glossary, or something else. We also update existing articles regularly as we discover new foods or visit more restaurants.

Do you have contributors?

No, everything on this site has been personally eaten (and badly photographed!) by us during our travels. That way, you get a real look at what the food actually looks like and where it’s available.

What countries will you cover?

Our goal is to eventually cover every country in the world (where it's safe to travel), creating an encyclopaedic reference of global cuisine as it’s found in restaurants — all to help fellow travellers know what to look out for.

Can I request a food article?

Absolutely! If there’s a country, city, or type of cuisine you’d love us to cover, let us know. We prioritise articles that are frequently requested by readers. Just hit the “say hi” button in the footer or here to send us an email.

What country has the best food?

That’s a tough one, and it’s something we plan to cover in a future Top 10 article! We’ll also be sharing lists of the best sandwiches in the world, rice dishes, noodles, and more. Stay tuned for our favourites (and feel free to tell us yours).

Who’s behind this website?

We’re not food professionals, just two people with a passion for travel and discovering delicious things to eat around the world. We created this site to share what we’ve learned (and tasted) with anyone else who’s curious.

What is the purpose of this website?

To build an encyclopaedia of dishes you can find in restaurants, cafés, street stalls, bakeries, and anywhere else people buy food around the world, no home cooking, just what you can actually go out and eat, and where to find it!

Where can we contact you?

You can reach us by clicking the “say hi” button in the footer or here to send us an email, or simply leave a comment on an article, we’d love to hear from you!
